DOL - Updated Guidelines for The FFCRA (Federal Paid Sick Leave and Family Leave)

On 3/28, the Department of Labor published updated guidance on how the federal paid sick leave applies to part time employees and other important information.  Please read ALL of the questions and answers since they give new information and options that are available: DOL .
 
Some critical highlights:
  • What counts as teleworking;
  • How to count hours worked for part-time employees without a normal schedule;
  • Whether to include overtime calculations;
  • Small business exemption;
  • Providing paid sick leave or expanded family and medical leave "intermittently" while teleworking.
